Teddy (she/they) is a Chinese transgender actor and writer. She was born in Wuhan and came of age in the United States. After living in California, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.

She is currently living in Shanghai.

In April 2023, she premiered her autobiographical solo play, AGGGH (All Good Girls Go to Heaven), produced by queer nightlife collective Liquid Liquid at the club Elevator in Shanghai.

As an actor, her stage performances have encompassed experimental, new play, and Shakespearean productions in independent and off-Broadway theatre. On-screen, Teddy has also starred in short films selected by international festivals like OUTFEST, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Chelsea Film Festival, and more.
